Art Commissions
I occasionally accept a limited number of custom art commissions for those looking for a meaningful, one-of-a-kind painting. With over 20 years of experience working in acrylics and watercolor, I focus on creating thoughtful, carefully crafted pieces that feel personal and timeless.
Because commission work requires additional planning, communication, and preparation, I take on only a small number at a time.
How Art Commissions Work (Overview)
Commissioned artwork is a collaborative process. I work closely with you to understand the subject, size, and overall feel you’re looking for while maintaining my artistic style.
To ensure clarity and quality, I use a structured process that includes concept approval, sample studies, and final execution.
Pricing
Commission pricing is based on size and surface:
Canvas: $2.50 per square inch
Board: $2.00 per square inch
Pricing reflects the time, materials, and experience involved in creating a custom, original painting.
Materials & Medium
All commission work is completed in acrylic paint.
Paintings are delivered unframed, allowing you to choose framing that best suits your space.
Experience & Artistic Approach
With over 20 years of painting experience, my focus is on quality, craftsmanship, and thoughtful composition. Commission work often involves preliminary studies to ensure the final piece feels right before completion.
